May 2010

The big news for this month is the launch of this website. It has been a long time in development as we wanted to create an accurate, informative and useful resource for all our clients and attract new patients to our clinic. We really hope that this site will succeed in its aims. If you have any comments please contact us here

Sept 2009

We are launching our Senior HealthCare program! We hope that this will really improve our care of older pets and allow us to build up an accurate picture of changes over time. We will discuss the ideal diets supplements and medicines with you after a physical exam and lab tests. You will receive a written report of our advice and a plan for future care of your pet. This plan will be maintained in the long term, but we are offering an introductory price that offers major savings. So if your pet is over 7 and appears healthy call us now!

March 2009

We have purchased a tonometer which is used to measure the pressure inside the eyeball. Raised pressure in the eye is very painful and quickly causes blindness. Our tonometer will help us diagnose this problem, glaucoma, and allow us to monitor the response to our treatments. Certain breeds of dogs are predisposed to glaucoma, including Cockers, Bassets, Miniature Poodles, Chow Chows, Shar Peis, Labradors, Huskies and Samoyeds.

January 2009

We have just installed our digital dental radiography system. This will allow us to obtain high quality x-rays of the teeth and jaws. These are very important in diagnosing and treating dental disease. With this we will be able to improve the standard of dental care.
