Hung Hom Veterinary Clinic is looking for a veterinary assistant to join our team of Australian trained VAs, in this well equipped, established, friendly veterinary clinic.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, practical team player with:
- Excellent spoken and written English and Cantonese.
- Spoken Mandarin, Japanese or Korean will be an asset.
- Experience is required. AIRC Level II Vet nurse training preferred
- An enthusiastic, hard working, practical, self motivated attitude.
- A genuine care for people and their animals.
Our VAs are trusted to provide full support to the veterinarians delivering our high standard of veterinary care. Your duties will include responsibility for nursing of hospital patients, anesthetic monitoring and care of surgical patients, translating and assisting during consultations and supporting our receptionists. You will be rewarded with:
- A 5 day working week on average
- Overtime pay and time off in lieu for all public holidays
- Support for AIRC nurse training
- Annual leave 12 days.
